Why am I getting deposits on my lenses if am using Tangible Boost?
Tangible Boost is meant to prolong the peak performance of the Tangible Hydra-PEG coating. One of the benefits of Hydra-PEG is that it will help lenses be more resistant to deposits building up on the lens. However, it will not cause a reduction in the amount of protein and other lipids your eye creates. Tangible Boost works best when it is used from the beginning of new lens wear. If your lenses were older when you started using Boost, or, you have not used Boost consistently, your results may not be as significant. Make sure your practitioner is aware of any new symptoms you experience with your eyes or contact lenses.

Since Tangible Boost is a prescription product per the FDA, we must verify that each patient who orders Tangible Boost is doing so with a valid prescription from a practitioner eligible to prescribe it. This process allows us to be able to offer online access to purchase Tangible Boost and is usually very fast.

What if my lenses feel dry or sticky when I am wearing them?
Lenses feeling dry or sticky is usually a sign of decreased tear production or quality. This can be caused by many things such as being in a different climate, adjusting to a new medication, lacking sleep, or suffering from allergies. Consider adding a rewetting drop to your daily regimen. Any drop that can be used with contact lenses is compatible with the coating, however, a lot of practitioners want their scleral lens patients to use preservative-free drops so it's best to check with them.

-
How do you store lenses with Hydra-PEG for longer than a few days?
Hydra-PEG coated lenses must be stored wet using one of the compatible multi-purpose solutions. It is important to remember to change the storage solution every 30 days and to be mindful of the expiration date of the solution. Each time you change the solution, clean the case as well. This is for ANY of the solutions you choose from the approved list.
