When to start patients on Tangible Boost
Prescribe Tangible Boost starting as early in the wearing cycle as possible. This will ensure the Tangible Hydra-PEG coating continuously delivers all the intended benefits.
Lenses that are further along in the wearing cycle still benefit from Tangible Boost as long as no obvious damage can be observed, such as coating that has been stripped by abrasive or alcohol-based products. Remember, the Tangible Boost solution binds to the coating that remains on the lens, and won't work on lenses that are not coated with Tangible Hydra-PEG.

How to use Tangible Boost
When your patients receive and open their monthly kit of Tangible Boost they will be welcomed with the following instruction guide. These instructions are both printed on the box, and provided in Tangible Boost's instructions for use.
Choosing a multi-purpose solution to use with Tangible Boost
The instructions for Tangible Boost require the use of a multipurpose solution for multiple steps in the process. The use of an MPS is required for patients to get the full effects of Tangible Boost by ensuring their lenses are clean and free of debris prior to using Tangible Boost, and by fully rinsing off the Boost solution after use.
Make sure your patients use only the recommended multi-purpose solution in conjunction with the Tangible Boost treatment. Tangible Clean is the recommended multi-purpose solution. However, Menicon Unique Ph and Boston Simplus are also approved.
Patients using a peroxide system as part of their daily care regimen will need Tangible Clean or one of the other approved multi-purpose solution on hand to perform their Tangible Boost treatment.
How to purchase Tangible Boost
Patients can purchase Tangible Boost from you or from Tangible Science. Here’s how you can submit patient prescription information and offer Tangible Boost online:
From your Practitioner Portal
A Tangible Practitioner Account is required to prescribe Tangible Boost online https://tangiblescience.com/pages/practitioners
Once you have successfully registered for a Tangible Practitioner Account and logged in, you can use our e-prescribe tools to submit a prescription for Tangible Boost. We offer two options to e-prescribe.
Option 1- Enroll patients in Tangible Care by logging in and choosing "Enroll Patients"
Tangible Care gives your patients access to Tangible Boost and Tangible Clean and allows them to receive care and compliance information directly from the Tangible Care Coach. The Care Coach is a series of emails with tips and reminders about coated lenses and access to an exclusive landing page. Patients also have the option to reach out directly to us at Tangible if they have questions about the care of their lenses.
Upon enrolling a patient in Tangible Care, they will receive an email directing them to purchase Tangible Boost from your online practitioner store. We provide you with an online store where the Tangible solutions you have recommended are available for purchase, and you have the option to earn revenue from their purchases. We will also provide you with free samples of Tangible Clean to get your patients started!
Option 2- E-prescribe Tangible Boost only by scrolling to the bottom of the page and choosing "Submit Boost Rx".
This option is for patients who do not wish to receive compliance information from Tangible Science. Patients will simply receive transactional emails from us regarding their purchase. Upon submitting a Tangible Boost Rx, your patient will receive an email from Tangible Science directing them to purchase Tangible Boost from our website: https://tangiblescience.com/products/tangible-boost
All orders of Tangible Boost placed through our website must be verified with a prescription prior to fulfillment. Patients with an Rx already on file will be verified immediately.
Pro Tip: For both options, Tangible Care and E-Prescribe only, the enrollment form IS the prescription; no further action is needed.
Selling Tangible Boost in your office
Since patients who purchase their care regimen supplies from their practitioner tend to have greater success through ease of compliance, selling Tangible Boost directly can provide mutual benefits.
Consider creating compliance bundles pairing Tangible Boost with Tangible Clean. Bundles can be used to incentivize patients by offering discounts and convenience. Patients who do not want to purchase multiple boxes and who can not frequent the office monthly are perfect for our subscription program.
Pro-Tip: Tangible Boost is HSA/FSA eligible in most cases. Patients should refer to their plan or Benefits Coordinator for specific details.
